
Al Furqan Welfare Organization Unites 3,500+ Students at Historic ‘Mustaqbil Pakistan’ Inter-Branch Sports Competition
Karachi, December 15th , 2025 – In a landmark celebration of youth, education, and national hope, Al Furqan Welfare Organization successfully hosted its first-ever Inter-Branch Sports Competition, Mustaqbil Pakistan, at the National Coaching Centre, Karachi. The mega event marked the official launch of Al Furqan’s Higher Education Mustaqbil Fund, a visionary initiative designed to support alumni beyond matriculation in pursuing colleges, universities, professional courses, and diplomas.
The event brought together around 4000 people under one roof, including students and teachers from the 17 branches of Al Furqan schools, sponsors, donors & supporters creating a powerful display of unity and collective purpose. In addition, four batches of alumni comprising 173 students actively participated – symbolizing the bridge between past achievements and future aspirations. The Mustaqbil Fund will support current alumni as well as future matric pass-out batches, ensuring long-term continuity in educational support.
The day began with an inspiring march, followed by vibrant, power-packed performances reflecting confidence, discipline, and youthful optimism. The formal launch of the Mustaqbil Fund formed the emotional core of the event, elevated further by a moving oath taken by students – pledging to strive relentlessly to enlighten their mustaqbil (future) and contribute positively to Pakistan. Athletic excellence followed, as students of all age groups competed in various races, showcasing determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Munawar Ali Mahesar, Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Sindh, who announced a generous pledge of PKR 300,000 in support of Al Furqan’s mission. Other esteemed guests included former hockey legend Samiullah Khan, renowned cricketers Azhar Ali and Fawad Alam, Brigadier Tarique Qadir Lakhiar, Nadeem Omer, owner of Quetta Gladiators, and Sharjeel Kharal, whose presence deeply inspired the students.
Addressing the gathering, Rubina Faryal Asif, President of Al Furqan Welfare Organization, stated:
“Today, our dream of holding a sports day has come true with Mustaqbil Pakistan. The seed sown with the Mustaqbil Fund today will flourish into beautiful, bright futures for our students and alumni. I am sincerely thankful to all our supporters who contributed in various ways to make this vision a reality.”

The event concluded with Al Furqan Welfare Organization raising 8 million funds as a baseline for the Mustaqbil Fund that will cater to the future of Al Furqan graduates – reinforcing the belief that the future of Pakistan lies in empowering its youth with education, confidence, and opportunity.
