Al Furqan Welfare Organization Celebrates Independence Day with a Call to Build the Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Dreamed Of
Karachi, 14th August 2025 – Al Furqan Welfare Organization brought together patriotism, art, and purpose in a soul-stirring Independence Day celebration ‘Hum Hain Pakistan’ at the Bol Network Auditorium on August 14, 2025. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices that won us freedom and a reminder of the responsibility we share to shape the Pakistan our Founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, envisioned.
The celebration unfolded with cheerful yet soulful music performances, filling the auditorium with an air of pride, hope, and unity. The audience was deeply moved by heart-touching stories of the struggles and sacrifices of those who fought for independence – stories that reminded everyone that the liberty we enjoy today was earned with immense courage, resilience, and faith.
One of the most impactful moments of the evening was ‘Bol ke Lab Azad Hain’, a silent theatrical act that spoke volumes without uttering a word. The performance shed light on the harsh realities of today’s society – from corruption and injustice to intolerance and crime – and powerfully conveyed how education is the most powerful weapon to fight and overcome these challenges.
Speaking at the event, Al Furqan Welfare Organization emphasized its mission: to transform Pakistan through education and to empower underprivileged children with the knowledge, skills, and values that can rid the nation of toxicity and rebuild it on the pillars of justice, equality, and unity.
“Independence is not just the absence of chains – it is the presence of opportunity, dignity, and hope. Our duty is to keep striving until every child in Pakistan can dream fearlessly and achieve without barriers,” said Sitara Khan, Head of Fundraising & Corporate Communication at Al Furqan.
As the night ended with a standing ovation, it was clear that the event was not just a celebration of the past – it was a pledge for the future.
